19-year-old driver killed in West Palm Beach accident

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 19-year-old man was killed on Saturday morning when he crashed into a pole near the Palm Beach International Airport.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the victim was driving west on Belvedere Road near Australian Avenue when he lost control of his 2020 Toyota Corolla around 4 a.m.

He struck the center median, before re-entering the westbound lanes and then striking an electric pole.

The driver was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he later died.
