Robin Calvary James, 25, is seen on video riding his bike into the northbound traffic lane on North Dixie Highway in Lantana. Moments later, he was knocked off his bike and was left in critical condition when he collided with a pickup truck. The video, going viral on social media, shows a large group of riders across the lanes, driving into the lane for oncoming traffic.

The driver of the truck that collided with Calvary did not want to be identified, but said he tried to avoid hitting the man.

“A group of motorcycles coming down the other way and the  were swerving in and out of the lanes and at the last second I saw this little bike, I swerved at the last second,” said the driver.

Videos of large groups of bikers swerving in and out of lanes have been shared on Palm Beach County Community Facebook pages, some riding bikes that are not street legal.
