26-Year-Old Man Injured In Crash That Left Five Others Critical
A 45-year-old man’s younger brother was involved in a serious car crash earlier this week after he suffered a seizure while driving in Palm Beach County.
The 26-year old victim said he was driving to the gym when “all of a sudden” he started having a seizure and crashed into an oncoming BMW.
“The only way I can describe it is that I was screaming in my own head but couldn’t control my body,” the victim told FHP. “I remember thinking there was nothing I could do.
“I was conscious, but it was the smallest amount of consciousness I can describe. I had no idea what was happening, he continued.
The victim said his fiancée ran a half-mile to the site of the crash when she found out. He was hospitalized for further testing. The victim said he does not have a history of seizures.
He said he’s “lucky to be alive” and the incident left him with a different outlook on life.
The driver and four passengers in the BMW were all rushed to a nearby hospital.
The police and the Florida Highway Patrol have not immediately commented on the incident yet.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in injuries.
