55-Year-Old Woman Injured After Stolen Truck Accident In Davie
A truck which crashed into a house and injured a 55-year-old. The truck had been stolen earlier and was being followed by police and the Florida Highway Patrol, a police force spokesman said.
Three men were arrested after the truck knocked down and injured the woman. The truck hit two other parked cars and smashed into the side of the house in Palm Beach County.
A spokesman said: “It was traveling along Delray Beach, towards Davie, when an officer in a marked patrol car traveling in the opposite direction, turned around to follow the vehicle.”
“The vehicle then traveled on to Limestone Creek where it collided with a pedestrian, a woman in her 50’s.
“The vehicle then hit two parked cars before colliding with a house and coming to a stop.”
The driver of the vehicle is currently in police custody, though Florida Highway Patrol officials said it isn’t clear yet if he will be charged.
