The driver had lost control while making a turn near Northbound Road in the Broward County, sending the car into a crowd of pedestrians, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The car hit a pickup truck and came to rest only after striking a building at 2095 Northwest Avenue in Broward County.

The drivers and passengers of both vehicles and the pedestrians sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The pedestrians, a 35-year old man, an 8-year old boy and a 49-year old woman, were all taken to Broward County Hospital, Florida Highway patrol sources said.
