84-year-old woman injured after being hit by truck in Royal Palm Beach

ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL – An 84-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a truck in a Royal Palm Beach parking lot, WPTV reports. 

The accident occurred in the parking lot of the Hobby Lobby on State Route 7 around 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning.

The victim was struck by a white 2020 Ford F-250 as it attempted to make a left turn. The 84-year-old woman was knocked to the ground before being ran over by the truck’s back tire.

She was rushed to St Mary’s Medical Center in critical condition. No further updates on her condition are currently available.

Police have not yet indicated if the truck driver will face charges.
