A major accident involving 2 cars at a busy intersection in front of the Shell gas station on NW 107th Street has traffic stopped in both directions.
Miami-Dade Police have just reported this crash with injuries just east of the Florida Turnpike. The exact location of the accident is at the corner of NW 107th Street and NW 25th Avenue. This is a very busy intersection with a traffic light. At this time we don’t know what caused the wreck but emergency first responders are on the scene.
This is a very busy intersection with vehicles pulling out of the shopping centers for the Bank of America Bank and BB & T Bank parking lots.
If you are traveling east on NW 25th Street it is best to take NW112th street south until you reach NW 12th Street then turn left (east) and head towards Miami. If you are traveling south on NW 107th Street your best alternate route is to go east and then take NW97th Ave to get around the accident.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Shuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate accident in Miami: “Many accidents on our city streets are caused by distracted driving. Whenever you are passing through a busy intersection please make sure that your smart phone, or others in your vehicle are not distracting you from safely traveling to your final destination. If you have been injured in an accident, call my office for a free consultation to find out what are your rights”.
