A two-vehicle crash occurred near Palm Beach State College on Lake Worth Road between Davis Rd. and Coconut Rd.

All clear now and no traffic incidents around PBSC Main Campus.

The impact of the collision of the two vehicles struck and knocked down a power pole. It hit the pole so hard that it split in half and left power wires dangling.
This led to a snarl of traffic in both east and westbound directions of Lake Worth Road in Palm Springs.
Nearby Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth campus is experiencing power outages as a result of the crash. Classes were not cancelled as a result of the crash.
“We are addressing the issue and do not know the full extent of the problem,” authorities of the Palm Beach State College is reporting.
The accident on Lake Worth road is blocking traffic. All westbound lanes and Eastbound lanes of Lake Worth Road are blocked at the time of this report.
First emergency responders are currently at the crash site.
The delay of traffic on this route is due to the severity of the crash. Vehicles on this route are pulling to the roadside to allow crews work. It is best to avoid this route. An alternative route to use is South Congress Avenue.
