Crash in Boca Raton Sends Two To The Hospital

Two people sustained major injuries in a recent two-vehicle crash. The cars crashed at Congress Avenue in Boca Raton, FL.Boca 1215

The crash site is near Valero gas station and the Costco on Congress Ave.

A Camry, at top speed, crashed into a Mercedes ahead of it. The Mercedes driver halted after the traffic light turned red. But the Camry coming directly behind him could not stop on time and rammed violently into the Mercedes.

It appears reduced visibility may have contributed to the crash.

Both drivers sustained major injuries in the crash. They are being transported to the Boca Raton Regional Hospital at the time of this report.

First emergency responders are at the crash site.

This is a vehicle crash with injuries. Three left lanes blocked, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office is reporting.  The delay of traffic on this route is due to the severity of the crash.

Vehicles on this route are pulling to the roadside to allow authorities work. Some are pulling into Valero gas station to get around the crash. Others are making a detour through side streets.

To avoid delays, we advise that you avoid this route and take alternate routes. A good alternate route to use in this case is Clint Moore Road.

Please drive with caution and stay safe.

Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck comments on this accident:  “This is a serious accident that unfortunately has sent people to the hospital with injuries.  It appears from what was reported that the accident was caused by the driver of the Mercedes failing to stop.  Please don’t be distracted when you are behind the wheel of a car, truck or SUV.   We hope that the victim retains proper legal council to represent them.  If you’ve been injured in an accident, make sure you are properly represented by an experienced trial accident attorney.”
