A man dies after being struck by two vehicles in West Palm Beach, according to officials with the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at the I-95 exit on Belvedere Road.
A 25-year-old woman was driving her four-door Volkswagen northbound in the bi-directional turn lane on Belvedere Road when she struck a man who was walking in the turn lane, an FHP report said.
The man landed in the southbound lane of Belvedere Road. He was then struck by a four-door Chrysler, according to troopers.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash happened.
The pedestrian died at the scene, according to authorities. His name has not been released.
Neither driver was under the influence of alcohol, officials said. The crash remains under investigation. This story will be updated and more information will be given. This will be done after authorities release this information to the public and the family of the victim.
The entrance ramp to I-95 due to the severity of the crash, causing traffic delays. Vehicles are pulling to the roadside to give emergency crews access to work. It is best to exit the I-95 via Okeechobee Blvd in the north and 10th Avenue in the south.
