1 Dead, 4 Rushed to Trauma Centers After Fiery Crash In Palm Beach County

A fiery crash involving multiple vehicles left one person dead and four others injured in Palm Beach.

Multiple people were trapped inside a burning car near Melaleuca Lane and Congress Avenue.  This is the information released by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the crash happened.  The crash victims were quickly taken away.  There was a total of six patients with only one not needing a hospital transport said PBSO.  One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Fire Rescue says the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will handle the investigation.

Eastbound and Westbound Melaleuca lanes were shut down due to the very serious crash on Congress Ave and Melaleuca said Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

This is a crash with injuries and please be advised that road will be closed for some time said the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office. No estimates on when it would reopen. The cause of the crash is being investigated.  As more information is released about the cause of this accident this story will be updated.

The closure of this route is due to the severity of the crash and has led to traffic delays. Vehicles on this route are pulling to the roadside to allow crews work. It is best to use an alternative route.
