One Dead After Motorcycle Crash On Military Trail In West Palm Beach

One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in West Palm Beach, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened at the intersection of Willow Pond and Military Trail, just north of Roebuck Road and west of Village Boulevard. Two vehicles and a motorcycle were involved.

A man from Boca Raton was driving a pickup truck southbound on Military Trail. The truck crossed the median and collided with a minivan driven by a 52-year-old man from Stuart who was traveling with a 23-year-old woman.

The truck driver drove into the center median, crashing into a minivan and a motorcycle before finally stopping several hundred feet from where the car first swerved, police said.

Deputies were called to the intersection of Willow Pond and Military Trail.  The accident was just north of Roebuck Road and west of Village Boulevard.  The crash was with two vehicles and a motorcycle just before 7 p.m. The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. Two others were injured.  The injured victims were promptly transported to the hospital.

Military Trail is closed in both directions as deputies investigate the scene. Authorities told motorists to seek an alternative route.
