Several people were injured in a multiple vehicle crash on Linton Blvd and Catherine Drive, according to Delray Beach Fire Rescue.
A total of 8 people were injured in the crash including 1 fatality. Delray Beach Fire Rescue responded to the crash and found four cars involved including one vehicle on its roof with victims trapped inside. Firefighters had to cut several occupants from the heavily damaged vehicles with the Jaws of Life. It is unclear what led to the crash.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the auto crash happened. They transported the injured victims to Delray Medical Center on trauma alert. Two people from the crash were transported with non-life-threatening injuries. Four of the injured victims were transported to Delray Medical Center in serious condition, according to fire officials. One person was treated at the crash scene and released after.
