One Hurt in West Palm Beach Two-Vehicle Accident On Congress Ave
One person was hurt in a crash on North Congress Avenue just north of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, the West Palm Beach Police Department said.
Police say a Toyota Prius was driving southbound in a northbound lane, sideswiping one vehicle and ultimately hitting a Toyota Corolla head-on. An occupant in the second vehicle suffered serious injuries to the head as a result of the crash.
First emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash happened. The victim was transported to the regional medical center. The condition of the victim is not known at the time of this report.
The road is being closed in both directions as traffic homicide investigators investigate the crash. Motorists are asked to avoid the area due to traffic delays and seek alternate routes.
This is a vehicle crash with injuries said the West Palm Beach Police Department. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The police are recommending that you take an alternate route around this crash. The best alternate routes would be to take I-95 or Military Trail.
West Palm Beach personal injury attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this accident. “It appears that the driver of the Toyota Prius was at fault in this crash. It is very unfortunate that both of the drivers and a passenger received injuries in this crash. We hope that they all quickly recover. Please be careful and obey the speed limits and traffic lights whenever you are driving a motorcycle, car, SUV or truck. This is especially true when there are children in the area. We hope that all parties involved consult with an experienced trial lawyer. If you have been injured in an accident, call my office for a free consultation to find out what are your rights”.
