Two Injured In Major Two-Car Crash On Northlake Blvd In Palm Beach Gardens
Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash after their vehicle was struck by another driver at the intersection of Northlake Boulevard and N Jog Road. This is in front of the south entrance to PGA National Resort and Spa.
Authorities were forced to cut the roof of one of the vehicles to extricate two victims following the crash at Northlake Boulevard intersection. The other vehicle that was in this accident was an SUV and did not appear to be as badly damaged.
A vehicle was traveling west on Northlake Blvd and appeared to run the red light. This happened right at the intersection on Northlake, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue officials said. The vehicle collided with a another vehicle that was headed north on N Jog Road.
According to Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, two people inside one of the vehicles were taken to a St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle had neck pain and a chest injury, while the passenger, who had to be extricated from the car, suffered undisclosed injuries and is listed in serious condition. No other injuries were reported.
According to report, DUI charges appeared to be pending in connection with the Palm Beach Gardens automobile accident. The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
