According to Fort Pierce Police Department, the pickup truck driver lost control of his 2015 Dodge pickup in the 900 block of South U.S. 1. He continued east toward Fort Pierce, and crashed into a motorcycle traveling southwest,” a report states. He continued in a north direction, striking a marble monument, and a tree. The car finally came to a halt when it hit a tree located on the northwest corner of a police station.
A witness reported hearing a “loud crash,” a report states. The witness said he saw a big truck with damage and a motorcyclist sprawled on the floor a few meters away.
