Two people were hospitalized after a 3-vehicle crash at 58th Avenue and 77th Street in Indian River County.
The 3-vehicle crash occurred when a red mini-van, white box truck and a white pickup truck pulling a trailer collided at the intersection of 58th Avenue and 77th Street.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash happened. Three people were injured in the crash, according to Indian River County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Cory Richter. Two victims were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The crash blocked all northbound lanes on 58th Avenue, forcing two-way traffic to alternative traveling past the crash. Deputies were seen turning around cars traveling westbound on 77th street.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known. Investigations are ongoing.
