Three people died in an I-95 crash in Indian River County, according to FHP.
Florida Highway Patrol says two vehicles collided on I-95 near mile marker 143 in Indian River Country. Three people died and one was seriously injured in the crash.
According to FHP, a 2015 Chrysler driven by 19-year old Melbourne man was traveling northbound on I-95 and veered left, crossing the grass median and entering the southbound lanes. The vehicle collided with the front end of a Ford Mustang driven by a 45-year old Barefoot Bay woman.
The woman suffered serious injuries, while her two passengers, both age 80, were killed. The driver of the Chrysler also died from her injuries she sustained in this crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
