PBSO Identifies Victims in Belvedere Road Crash in Suburban West Palm Beach

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has identified victims of Belvedere Road crash in suburban West Palm Beach.

The violent incident that left three people dead and another hospitalized appeared to originate at the Madison Chase apartment complex in suburban West Palm Beach, the sheriff’s office says. The sheriff’s office says for unknown reasons one vehicle was shooting at another leading to a crash near Skees and Belvedere roads. The Belvedere Road crash closed east and westbound lanes of Belvedere Road for several hours.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office identified three of the four victims. Chauncey Christian, 21, and Jerry Dunois, 20, died in the shooting. Derek Jupiter, 20, is hospitalized in stable condition. An unidentified juvenile, whose name has not been released, also died.

According to a witness who spoke to WPTV’s Merris Badcock, the Belvedere Road crash didn’t look like just another car crash. One of the vehicles was riddled with bullet holes, he said.
