Pickup Truck Crashes Into Palm Springs Store
A local business was damaged after a pickup truck crashed into the front windows of the store, West Beach Police say.
The crash happened near Palm Springs Elementary School at the intersection of 10th Avenue N and Kirk Road. West Palm Beach firefighters rushed to the scene where they found a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck partially inside a store. The pickup truck drove through the windows at the front of the store.
The vehicle shattered the front glass doors and damaged part of the building. Police said the pickup truck and another vehicle collided and the pickup truck veered off into the store. The owner said he is forced to close the store for at least two weeks for reconstruction.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue said one person was injured in the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
