School Children Injured After Bus Crashes Into Vehicle In S Congress Avenue and Woolbright Road
Crews responded to reports of a crash involving a bus near the intersection of Congress Avenue and Woolbright Road, according to fire officials.
Six school-aged children were on board the bus at the time of the crash. They were evaluated by paramedics. Two children were transported to the hospital with serious injuries while the others weren’t required to go to the hospital, fire officials said. They were later released to their parents.
However, the driver of the vehicle sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local trauma center by a helicopter.
