A man died after a crash at the intersection of 45th Street and Village Boulevard in West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened when a driver traveling in a BMW was speeding eastbound on 45th Street and then ran a red light at the intersection of 45th Street and Village Boulevard.
Investigators were called to the site of the crash just west of Interstate-95, where the driver of a BMW crashed into another vehicle. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the BMW first crashed into a Honda Accord and then continued on to hit a sign next, officers said.
The emergency crew arrived at the scene shortly after the crash happened. The BMW driver was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival to the hospital. The driver of the Honda suffered unknown injuries, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators said the BMW was reported stolen from The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction.
