A 38-year-old Belle Glade woman suffered traumatic injuries after a Sports Utility Vehicle she was traveling in, overturned on Interstate 95 in Martin County, Florida Highway Patrol reports.
The woman was traveling southbound on Interstate 95 near Palm City when her SUV was suddenly rear-ended by another vehicle. She lost control of the vehicle and it overturned, according to a crash report.
Both drivers suffered traumatic injuries as a result of the crash, troopers say.
The two drivers and their passengers who suffered non-life threatening injuries were transported to Martin Memorial South Hospital and Lawnwood Regional Hospital.
It unclear if the drivers or passengers were wearing seat belts prior to the crash, the report indicates.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. No other information has been released at this time.
