Crash blocks NB lanes of Florida Turnpike in Palm Beach Gardens South of Indiantown Road
A crash with injuries is snarling traffic on the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in Palm Beach Gardens, Federal Highway patrol said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash is at mile marker 114, which is just south of Indiantown Road. The northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike between Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens areas are blocked due to the severity of the crash.
A crash report on the FDOT website states that, “Accident on the Turnpike near Palm Beach Gardens has traffic at a standstill. Several first responders are on scene.”
The injured victims have been transported to the hospital by first emergency responders. No word on the extent of injuries of what led up to the crash. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the crash.
