Girl Struck By Car In Port St. Lucie, Air Lifted To Hospital
A girl was rushed to the hospital after she was struck by a car in a parking lot, the St. Lucie County Fire District said.
The girl was struck in a parking lot in the 8200 block of Business Park Drive. She suffered serious injuries and she’s currently in a serious condition, but her injuries are not life threatening, according to fire officials.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident happened and the young girl was flown by air to a pediatric trauma hospital.
According to a statement issued by the St. Lucie County Fire District spokeswoman, “ A female child going by air to a pediatric trauma hospital after being hit by a car in a parking lot in the 8200 block of Business Park Drive. She is in serious condition but not life threatening.”
The identity of the young girl is yet to be released. No further information is known about the crash.
