According to Police reports, the pedestrian was hit by a  sedan which was driven by a woman in her mid twenties. The woman had earlier been engaged in a heated augment with the 24 year old man who eyewitnesses claim is her live in boyfriend.

The argument concluded with the woman driving off with their baby after the man walked away from the car. According to eyewitness reports, she then drove back in the direction of the man who was casually taking a walk down the street and struck him with her car, shattering her windshield in the process.

Emergency first responders were on scene to attend to the injured victim who was airlifted to the hospital. The man suffered from severe head trauma sustained in the crash and had to undergo surgeries to treat his injuries.

In a video posted by police, there is crime scene tape around the car which appears to have a big dent in the hood and a shattered windshield.

The identities of either person was not revealed by the Police, but investigations are still ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
