According to the FHP, a red Chevrolet Corvette was involved in a rear end collision with a tractor trailer that killed the passenger in the front seat of the car.
The Corvette was believed to be speeding in the northbound lane when it ran into the rear of a tractor trailer that was trying to make a turn onto the road. The Corvette was badly damaged in the high impact collision.
