Three Adults and Two Children Seriously Injured In Boca Raton Crash
Five People were seriously injured in a crash involving two vehicles on Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton.
Two children were among the casualties with serious injuries when a white Toyota SUV collided with a Chevrolet Sedan.
According to police reports, the accident occurred when the white Toyota SUV, which was in the eastbound lane of Clint Moore Road, crossed over to the westbound lane and collided head on with a Chevrolet Sedan. Both cars were badly damaged in the crash.
Emergency services could be seen clearing the debris after the crash. The driver of the Toyota SUV was severely injured in the crash. He was rushed to the nearest hospital. The front seat passenger in the SUV also sustained serious injuries to the neck and was taken to the hospital.
The Chevrolet Sedan was occupied by a mother and her two children, of whom were seriously injured. The mother sustained head trauma and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment, while the two children were said to have sustained some fractures. Eyewitnesses claim that they could be heard screaming as emergency services came to evacuate them from the wreckage.
The children were also taken to the hospital and are said to be in stable condition. Police are investigating the cause of the crash. No charges have been filed yet.
