A woman from Lake Worth was involved in a rollover crash along West Boynton Beach Boulevard in Boynton Beach.
According to police reports, the 39 year old woman was driving a Pontiac along the westbound lane of West Boynton Beach Boulevard. She lost control of her vehicle and headed towards a car parked on the side of the road. The Pontiac clipped against a raised platform causing the car to rolling over twice before slamming into a parked vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was found unconscious. Passersby immediately ran to the wrecked vehicle to render assistance to the injured driver.
A man who witnessed the crash said that the driver was lucky to have survived the crash. “I was expecting a vegetable when I approached the car, but to my surprise she was still breathing” he said.
Emergency services arrived the scene of the crash to clear the wreckage and take care of the injured driver. She suffered some broken ribs among other injuries and was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
