50 Year Old Man Killed And Two Other Injured In Fort Pierce Crash
A 50 year old man was killed in a deadly crash which left two people injured on Delaware Avenue in Fort Pierce.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash involving two vehicles along Delaware Avenue. Emergency services were on scene to assist in clearing the wreckage. The westbound lane of Delaware Avenue was blocked by officers to prevent contamination of the crash scene.
A blue Mazda CX-5 and a Ford Sedan were the two vehicles involved in the accident. Both vehicles were damaged beyond recognition.
Police found a 50 year old man in the front seat passenger side of the Ford sedan with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead on the scene before paramedics could transport him to the hospital. The driver of the Sedan was severely injured. He was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the Mazda CX-5 sustained multiple fractures in the crash. He was taken to the hospital is in a stable condition at the moment.
A spokesperson for the FHP said that they are hoping for more witnesses to come forward with useful information about the crash. An investigation is still ongoing.
