Police are conducting investigations after a two vehicle crash on Saddle Club Road. According to police reports, the 45 year old female driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Sedan was traveling in the eastbound lane of Saddle Club Road when she entered the intersection to take a left turn into Glades Parkway.

She was in the process of navigating the turn when a black Audi Sedan T-boned her vehicle on the driver’s side. The Audi approached the intersection from the southbound lane of Glades Parkway. The impact sent the Chevrolet spinning out of control until it crashed into a light signal pole at the southwest end of the intersection.

Three people sustained serious injuries in the Chevrolet Sedan. The 45 year old driver of the Chevrolet was hospitalized for internal injuries and broken ribs. Two other occupants of the car, a 12 year old girl and her 16 year old sister, also sustained severe injuries from the crash and had to be rushed to the hospital.

According to an eyewitness account, the 42 year old driver of the black Audi Sedan allegedly got out of his car after the crash and ran out of sight. It is believed that he also sustained minor injuries from the crash, but did not wait for paramedics. He was later arrested by police officers about two blocks away from the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash. There no information on what charges will be brought against him at the moment.
