Police officers were called to the scene of an accident involving a cyclist and a Nissan truck on South County Road.
According to emergency first responders, the cyclist was found on the shoulder of the road with severe injuries sustained from a truck collision on the northbound lane of South County Road. The 23 year old cyclist was riding his bicycle on the right shoulder of the road when a truck ran into him, ramming his bicycle from the left.
The cyclist sustained multiple bone fractures from the impact of the crash and was attended to by paramedics on the scene. He was later placed on a stretcher and transported to the hospital. He is said to be in a critical condition at the moment.
