Emergency services responded to a violent crash which occurred at a Toll Plaza on Florida’s Turnpike. A footage from the Toll plaza surveillance camera shows a SUV speeding towards the Toll booth and crashing into a concrete barrier.

The video footage also shows a male passenger flying through the windshield of the car and gliding on the asphalt before lying motionless beside one of the toll booths. The SUV was said to have burst into flames due to the impact of the crash. Smoke could be seen pouring from the hood of the car.

Police say all five occupants of the car survived. According to eyewitness accounts, it is a miracle no one was killed in the crash.

Firemen spent about an hour clearing the wreckage. Paramedics were also on scene to attend to injured victims and transport those with serious injuries to the hospital.

An officer on ground said the driver of the vehicle appeared to be fatigued at the time of the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
