1 Child, 7 Others Hospitalized In Car Crash on Hypoluxo Road
A child and seven others sustained serious injuries following a three-car crash along Hypoluxo Road in Boynton Beach.
Police are investigating a fatal crash on Hypoluxo Road that sent eight people to the hospital with serious injuries. According to authorities, the accident, which occurred close to Florida Drive, left three vehicles badly damaged and debris all over the pavement.
Emergency first responders arrived on the scene to attend to the crash victims and to clear the debris from the crash location. Consequently, they transported seven people to JFK Medical Center for various injuries.
Additionally, a child also sustained critical injuries in the crash and paramedics transported the child to the Trauma Ward at Delray Medical Center. There is no word on the present state of the child at the moment.
Authorities shut down the westbound lanes of Hypoluxo Road in the hours following the crash due to a heavy presence of emergency vehicles and crash debris. Officers of the Boynton Beach Police Department arrived at the scene to investigate the crash.
