According to Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, an 18-year-old Palm Beach Gardens teen was behind the wheel of a Sport Utility Vehicle, traveling west on Northlake Boulevard along with her twin sister, when she attempted to make a U-turn west of Military Trail. Upon doing so, an eastbound Ford Expedition slammed into the SUV’s passenger side. One passenger in the Ford, whom authorities are yet to identify, suffered a head injury.

The violent crash, which occurred near Montecito, sent the victims to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries. The 40-year-old Ford driver, as well as her passenger, were also rushed to St. Mary’s for treatment. Following the South Florida collision, both occupants of the SUV were listed in good and fair condition.
