Man, 36, Killed In Motorcycle Crash On I-95
A 36-year-old motorcyclist whose identity is yet to be released was killed in a two-car crash on the highway, the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 near 10th Avenue. FHP troopers say the motorcyclist tried to get around a two-car crash on the highway. He changed lanes but rear-ended one of the wrecked cars. The effect of the impact flung him off his motorcycle to the road causing extensive critical injuries from the crash.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash happened and the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown at the time of filing this report. The victim was not wearing a helmet, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, FHP said.
