Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash

A man in his was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash, according to St. Lucie County Fire Rescue.

Fire rescue says the crash occurred at Indian River Drive and County Line Road. The incident involved the motorcycle and another vehicle. The man was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.

‘This is a vehicle crash with injuries and a roadblock,’ said the St. Lucie County Fire Rescue spokeswoman.

The St. Lucie County Fire Rescue said a truck towing a van struck a motorcycle traveling on Indian River Drive. First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the accident happened and the victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Two lanes on the Turnpike are blocked due to the severity of the crash, causing traffic delays. Vehicles on this route are pulling to the roadside to allow crews work. It is best to use an alternative route.
