Pedestrian Was Hit By Vehicle Near Westchester Country Club
A woman is on life support at Delray Medical Center after she was struck by a vehicle an the Westchester Country Club in Boynton Beach.
The crash took place near Westchester Country Club on Jog Road, south of Piper’s Glen Blvd.
A 2014 Altima traveling northbound struck the woman while she was by the roadside. The driver remained at the scene and called 911.
First emergency responders arrived at the scene of the crash soon after the accident happened and the victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries for treatment. However, the victim was confirmed to be comatose on arrival to the hospital following the fierce crash. She has been placed on life support.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is yet to identify the woman. She is described as being between 60 and 65 years old with brown eyes, according to PBSO.
