Four Vehicle Crash In Delray Beach Kills Four People
According to a preliminary crash report, a 21-year-old man who was involved in the four vehicle crash that killed four people in Delray Beach.
The 21-year-old driver told Delray Beach investigators that his 2010 Chevy Silverado’s gas pedal had become stuck moments before he began to dodge other vehicles on Federal Highway. Four vehicles were involved in the crash. There were several injuries and four fatalities.
Delray Beach Police went back to the crash scene close to South Federal Highway and Lamat Avenue to recreate the crash.
A police spokeswoman also said that investigators are still looking into whether mechanical failure was caused the crash. They adding that it may take months before a final determination as to the cause of the crash will be made.
Police stressed that the investigation still remains active and that if any arrest is made, it would come only when the investigation is completed.
