Child Injured And Sent To Hospital In Boynton Crash
A child who was injured in a three-car crash has been released from the Delray Medical Center.
A three-car accident on the Hypoluxo Road across from the Freedom Shores Elementary School had sent a child to a trauma center. Seven others were also sent to the hospital, said the Boynton Beach police.
The child was rushed to the trauma center at the Delray Medical Center following the three-car crash. The other seven victims were transported to the JFK Medical Center, police reported.
The accident, which had occurred just at Venetian Drive and Hypoluxo Road led to the shutting down of all westbound lanes of Hypoluxo Road. Police reported that all lanes have been reopened.
The police have not disclosed the child’s identity as well as the identities of victims. The crash remains under investigation.
