Two-Vehicle Crash On SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard
Police and the St. Lucie County Fire rescue are still investigating a two-car crash that happened at the 600 block of SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
A preliminary investigation had revealed that a vehicle was seen traveling west in the 600 block of SW Port St Lucie Blvd. Another vehicle was seen on SW Del Rio trying to make a right turn onto SW Port St Lucie Boulevard. As the vehicle was still making its turn, it was t-boned on the left side by the previous vehicle. The vehicle suffered serious damage and the driver was seriously wounded from the impact of the car crash.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident happened. The driver of the second vehicle was unresponsive on the scene and had been taken to a nearby hospital. He is currently in a stable condition in the hospital.
Police say the driver of the second vehicle was seen traveling at a very high rate of speed when the crash had happened. They are still carrying out the investigation of the crash.
