78-Year-Old Passenger Dies In Palm Beach Gardens Crash
A fatal crash involving a 78-year-old happened south of BallenIsles and Northlake Boulevard.
The driver said she was driving south of BallenIsles and Northlake Boulevard when traffic forced her to stop while blocking the lane outside BallenIsles. The 68-year-old woman told police she thought she had a green light but T-boned the victim’s vehicle.
The 68-year old woman’s husband was in the passenger seat. He suffered head injuries and was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center,where he later died. The 68-year old suffered broken bones and other injuries.
The victim, a 35-year-old woman, suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. She was the only occupant of the vehicle and she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
First emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash happened. The injured victims were transported to the hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
