One Injured After Mercedes Slams Into Milk Truck
A suspected drunk driver rear-ended a milk truck in Palm Beach County leaving one person injured, police said.
The black Mercedes Benz was traveling north on Palm Beach County when the 33-year-old female driver slammed into the back of a truck that was double-parked.
The truck driver was making a delivery inside a nearby storefront at the time of the crash, police said. The car then spun out of control and smashed into a tree.
The driver and her 35-year-old male passenger were rushed to Delray Medical Center where the passenger is being treated after suffering a severe injury.
The woman, who is in stable condition, is suspected to have been drunk at the time of the accident and is under arrest with charges pending, a Florida Highway Patrol said.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification.
