Twins Driving Home From Going-Away Party Die In Car Crash In Palm Beach County
Twin sisters, who relatives described as inseparable, were killed in Palm Beach County over Memorial Day Weekend driving home from a friend’s going-away party.
A 26-year old girl was behind the wheel when she and her twin crashed their Dodge Neon into the back of parked semi-truck, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. The 26-year-old twin sisters were pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
“It’s just crazy. They came into this world together and went out together,” their brother told Florida Highway Patrol officials.
Before the fatal crash, one of the girls had graduated from a University in Palm Beach County with a degree in biochemistry. Her fraternal twin had also been taking classes at a University in Martin County in hopes of pursuing a career in zoology.
Grieving relatives remembered the sisters who grew up on the city’s far south side as “special girls.”
“What can I say, this is a terrible loss. My beautiful daughters are gone,” their mother told Florida Highway Patrol officials.
