Five Teens Killed After Drag Racing Car Crash

A fifth teenager has died after a devastating car crash that had killed four other High School students, officials said.

A 17-year old was pronounced dead, succumbing to injuries suffered in the accident, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Four other High School students in Palm Beach County, a 18-year-old boy, a 14-year old girl, a 17-year old girl, and a 15-year old boy also died in the horrific crash.

“They had just gone out for the night. Just a normal night, and then this happened,” the brother said at his sibling’s wake.

Florida Highway Patrol identified a 55-year old as the driver.

A 34-year old man said he was told by several of his brother’s friends that they were in another car racing the teens when their vehicle slammed into a SUV.

Police are still investigating and haven’t yet declared the accident to be the result of a drag race, Florida Highway Patrol officials.
