Palm Beach County sheriff’s authorities have identified the two men killed in a Greenacres crash as Osvaldo Gomez-Alberto, 22, and Daniel Del Valle, 30.
Police investigate an accident which left a car inside a home at the Forest Hill Gardens Apartments in Greenacres before dawn.
The men were found dead after their car crashed into 12-unit building in the Palo Verde apartment complex, which sits parallel to Forest Hill Boulevard west of Sherwood Forest Boulevard.
Sheriff’s authorities say shots were reportedly fired in the area shortly before the car plowed through a family’s living room. However, they haven’t commented on whether the men died because of injuries sustained in the shooting or from the crash.
The silver Lincoln sedan, which had a temporary license plate on it, remained in the home for hours while authorities investigated. Dozens of neighbors stood outside the crime scene tape gawking at the damage.
No one in the home was injured.
