A 19-year-old Ormond Beach woman was killed on Interstate 95 after a tractor-trailer hit her near Fort Pierce, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting at least one person is dead after the early morning wreck on Interstate 95 in Fort Pierce.
19-year-old ForMaria Camila Ramirez exited her car after she hit a light pole near Indrio Road, according to FHP. She was in the outside lane when the front of the truck struck her. She died at the scene.
Interstate 95 was closed for several hours while road crews cleared the scene of the wreckage,the Florida Department of Transportation is reporting. All lanes have since reopened.
