29-Year Old Hospitalized After Wellington Crash

One person in critical condition after a BMW, driven by a 29-year old, collided with another vehicle that had been forced onto the wrong side of the road.

An 11-year old was in the car with her mom on her way to school when they were struck by a BMW. Amazingly, she emerged relatively unscathed.

The 29-year old, who was driving the BMW, suffered multiple fractures as well as a shattered pelvis and damage to her arteries resulting in near-fatal blood loss.

The 29-year old initially suffered from memory loss and delusions. She was confined to the ICU for three weeks, where she had a tracheotomy and a so-called “halo” apparatus screwed into her head for support. Her husband calls it a “personal portable prison cell.”

The initial cause of the crash has not been released by police at the time.  The crash is still under investigation.

Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident involving two vehicles, which ultimately, resulted in head injuries. We wish the victim a speedy recovery and hope the investigators can quickly determine what caused the accident. Please be careful and obey the speed limits whenever you are driving a motorcycle, car, SUV or truck. We hope that all parties involved consult with an experienced trial lawyer.
