A Broward County construction worker, who escaped death while a gun man opened fire at the Madden NFL 19 video game tournament, was killed in an unrelated car crash, friends and authorities said.
The 25-year old man, of Hobe Sound, was driving in Hillsboro Beach when he lost control and struck another car ejecting him onto nearby train tracks, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
The driver of the other car he struck sustained minor injuries. He was taken to Broward County hospital.
The 25-year old wasn’t wearing a seat belt during the car crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“To have him tragically lose his life like this is almost too much to bear,” his friend, told The Post adding recent rainy weather likely played a role in the crash. “He’s a good, loving person who is gone too soon.”
The crash is still under investigation.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident involving a construction worker, which ultimately, resulted in his death.
