FHP said two people have been taken to hospital after a schoolgirl was hit by a car in Broward County.
Police, fire crews and paramedics were on scene, with another lady also being assessed who appears to be quite distraught.
The 11-year-old girl was treated for arm and leg injuries before being taken to Pembroke Pines Hospital in a stable condition, a Broward County Ambulance Service spokesman said.
A woman was also taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Two roads in the county are blocked off. A 33-year old man directed traffic while police, fire crews and paramedics were on scene. The road is now clear.
The accident is still under investigation.
